I’m an Industrial Engineer who used to work in engineering and consulting in Spain. It was nice and great job but it was just not fulfilling therefore I quit and took a flight to Australia.
I needed something different, a change in surroundings seemed like what I needed. I wanted to have the experience of living in a different country. To work, surf and meet new people. I have not been in Melbourne that long but it seems to me that its a city with a certain vibe. It has really cool coffee, nightclubs and more. There are also really nice and friendly people here. I have had a great welcome in the city. It makes me feel like I am a part of this community. I expect to live here for the next 3 to 4 months and then continue on my journey around the world.
My plan is to go from Melbourne to Gold Coast, then hop on to Hawaii and Mexico and finally land in Canada. In Canada, I plan to apply for another working holiday visa and travel to Whitler Mountain. I want to enjoy the winter season there. In Australia, I was based in Sydney. Working as an engineer, model, and photographer. I spent a lot of time on the beach during my free time. As well as played occasionally poker with my friends Australia has been an experience that I will never forget and has made me grow as an individual. By Adrian V H
